Over the next few years Aj, Pete and maybe the kids will publish there experiences in Italy. We hope you find these memories enjoyable and maybe, just maybe it will spur you to come visit us and experience your own memories.

July 2005: (Pete) I arrived at Venice Marco Polo on 6 July to start our 3-5 year tour here. I left Chicago on the 5th after saying good bye to Aj in Des Moines. She was getting ready to head for the middle east for her deployment with the Iowa Air National Guard. Traveling to and from Europe involves a simple schedule to remember: one day of travel from Europe to the US and two days travel from the US to Europe. You're in the air the same amount of time but east to west travels with the clock and west to east travels against it.
